This is a party-sized prepared mix that's loaded with tastes of the holiday season, which makes it ideal for hosting a holiday party. Any leftover citrus syrup you can use for brunch beverages, desserts, or for another batch of the drink.

Makes enough for 10 people
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (makes 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (yields 850ml, serving 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (as made above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
For the Syrup: Combine the listed ingredients in a pot, heat until it reaches a light boil, stirring to dissolve. Next, take off the burner and let it to cool down fully. Decant to a sealable bottle, close it and store in the fridge, it will last for up to one month.
For the Batch Mix: Combine the specified spirits and syrup into one sizeable container, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then strain preferably using cheesecloth, so it's perfectly clear.
For serving: Measure 85ml from the cocktail base into a stirring glass containing ice, and stir carefully for about 60 seconds to chill. Pour into an cold coupe glass or equivalent, decorate with a few cranberries and finish with a brief mist of mandarin oil over the top.
